Hare Notes: This is a SUNDAY run. There is a beer stop.
Directions: Put the address or GPS co-ordinates into your car navi (SatNav). When you drive up Donaufelder Strasse look for a place to park near the Billa Plus on Donaufelderstrasse or across the road on Alfred-Noble Gasse. There is NO parking on Carminweg and cars are not permitted on the section of Carminweg next to the Billa Plus.
Public Transport:
(1) Take the 25 Tram, direction Floridsdorf from Kagran (U1), 3 stops to Carminweg stop.
(2) Take the 26 Tram, direction Strebersdorf from Kagranerplatz (U1) 3 stops to Carminweg stop.
(3) Take either the 25, direction Aspern or 26 Tram, direction Hausfeldstrasse from Floridsdorf 3 stops to Carminweg stop. Walk 100m along Carminweg to the park.

Hare Notes: This is an A-B trail - Schottentor to Praterstern. Parking very difficult at both ends. There will be a full runners trail and a shorter walkers trail.
Directions:
Park at A (Schottentor) and use the U-Bahn (U2) to get back to your car.
Park at B (Praterstern) and use the U-Bahn (U2) to get back to the start.
Public Transport: Schottentor - U-Bahn U2, and trams D, 1, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 71, plus the Bus 1A and 40A.

Hare Notes: Bring something to grill on the barbeque after the trail
Directions: Drive out of Vienna via Ostautobahn A4 direction Budapest. Take the exit Fischamend (the next AFTER the Schwechat airport exit). At the T- junction at the top of the ramp turn right onto the B9, direction Bratislava. Drive on through Maria Ellend, Regelsbrunn, Wildungsmauer and PAST the turn off to Petronell on your left hand side - but do NOT turn off here. Continue along the B9 for about 5 km until you pass underneath an overbridge. Continue past the OBI store on the left hand side and under another over-bridge. Immediately after passing under this bridge take the turning on your left and drive down the hill into Bad Deutsch Altenburg. At the bottom of the hill you will come to the market "square" and the first side street on your left - which is the Neustiftgasse. Park where you can near no. 15 (The house is on the left-hand side of the street).
Public Transport: Take the S-Bahn S7 from Praterstern/ Wien Mitte/ Rennweg direction Wolfsthal. Get off the train at Bad Deutsch Altenburg (journey time approx. just over 1 hour). From the station at BDA walk across the pedestrian overbridge across the highway, down the steps at the end of the bridge, straight ahead through the small park and across the road to a steep narrow side street called "Bahnweg". Walk down the Bahnweg which meets the Neustiftgasse at the bottom. Turn right and walk down the Neustiftgasse to no. 15 which will be on your right-hand side.
